Re:                  Travis Hawkins, Sr.

MOBILE, Ala.:  A press conference will be held today on behalf of Travis Hawkins, Senior, at the law firm of Burns, Cunningham & Mackey, P.C., at 50 Saint Emanuel Street in Mobile, Alabama, at. 3:30 p.m., CST.

Travis Hawkins, Senior, has been falsely accused of either participating in the assault perpetrated by Travis Hawkins, Junior, and/or failing to act promptly.  Both accusations are absolutely untrue.  Mr. Hawkins, Senior, invited Ms. Owens to spend Thanksgiving with his family.  He had no knowledge of either his son’s intention to attack her or of his motivation for doing so.  When the assault occurred, Mr. Hawkins promptly intervened, coming to Ms. Owens’ aid.

Ms. Owens is currently recuperating at the Hawkins home.
